The orbiter even has a trim screw that allows you to adjust the elevator to get that perfect glide, or to get a realistic shuttle approach angle which will be so frightening that you'll immediately set it back to a perfect glide. It does its best stuff on a C6-3. We have solved the stability problems of the OOP Estes 1284 shuttle kit, so our flies up rather than sideways. The kit is fairly complex, however, and not intended for the first time builder or someone who is tasteless enough to buy those blister-packed buy-it-and-fly-it kits. Average skill level model builders can get this one going and above average skill level builders will have tons of fun.
The shuttle is the standard-bearer of Zooch's line, and it's unparalleled in the market. It flies very well and the shuttle glides realistically without oversized fins.
Be forewarned: it's a fairly small kit. But it is a very high skill level build because of the incredible amount of detail. Get ready to hunker down for a few days... and when you're done, you'll have a model that will get everyone's attention at the range.
This kit is a new revision, and now has an engine block, SRB wraps, and flame fins.
