The 1/70th scale Apollo capsule set is all brand new! Apogee Components bought the new tooling necessary to create these exquist detailed parts. Included are the capsule (also known as the boost protect shield), the escape tower parts, a tube that fits the escape tower, Umbilical Adapter piece that connects the capsule to the Service Module, and the RCS nozzles that fit on the Service Module.
These parts fit the standard BT-70 size tubing (Apogee Part number 10165). This size tubing is available from our body tube web page.
